Reading and searching

You can read the guides without an account. Site search uses a static search index in your browser. The site does not send the text you enter in search to a separate search service.

This version has no email signup or checkout. The comparison filters work in your browser. They do not collect your choices.

Contact form

Our contact form sends your name, email address, subject and message to this site. Spam checks use a signed form token, a hidden field, message filters and an IP-based rate limit. Accepted messages are held in our hosting provider's storage and delivered to our mailbox. We use what you send to answer your query and check any error you report. The form does not add you to a mailing list.

Do not send payment details, passwords or private order records. Queued messages expire after 90 days. Delivered correspondence may remain in our mailbox; we do not set a fixed deletion promise for it here. Ask about a message you sent if you want us to review its use or removal.

External sites

Source links open other websites. Their operators apply their own privacy terms and may use cookies or logs. Read those terms before giving them personal information. An external link does not share your email message with that site.

A product button opens the manufacturer’s own page, where that manufacturer’s privacy and cookie terms apply. Product photos are hosted locally. Read our link policy for the commercial context.

Your choices

You can choose not to send a message. Browser settings let you manage local site data. No email list or user profile is needed to use these guides.

For a privacy question, use our contact form. Include enough detail to identify the message or issue, without adding sensitive information.

Our cookieless analytics provider measures page views and performance without setting cookies.

IP-based contact spam-limit records expire within 25 hours.

Delivered contact messages remain in our mailbox until deleted. You can request deletion through our contact page.

Subject to applicable law, you can request access to, correction or deletion of your personal data, restrict or object to processing, and withdraw consent. Use our contact page to exercise these rights or raise a privacy question.
