An iced latte does not require automatic steaming. You prepare espresso and combine it with cold milk and ice in a suitable glass. That changes the buying decision: coffee preparation, repeatable delivery and the equipment around the machine may matter more than an automatic milk feature.
#1. HiBREW H10A (US, silver)
HiBREW H10A (US, silver) HiBREW H10A (US, silver)
Our verdict:
For adjustable brew settings
Choose the US H10A for adjustable brewing controls and a manual steam wand. Its non-pressurized baskets need a suitable espresso grind.
Keep in mind: A separate espresso grinder and hands-on milk work remain necessary; select the US 120V version.
New US offer below $500 before tax and shipping; checked 31 October 2026.
Check price at HiBREWChoose the H10A if you want to adjust the espresso base rather than buy primarily for milk automation. The maker provides brewing-temperature, pre-infusion and shot-volume controls. Change one setting at a time so your next drink can be compared with the last one.
Its non-pressurized baskets need a suitable espresso grind. Include a separate grinder in the equipment plan. For an iced latte you can add cold milk after brewing; the manual wand remains available when you want a hot milk drink. Select the linked US 120V silver machine, not a different regional version.
#2. Breville Bambino BES450
Breville Bambino BES450 Breville Bambino BES450
Our verdict:
For manual milk work
Choose the BES450 for its manual milk process and separate coffee preparation. Follow the supplied basket route before adding tools.
Keep in mind: It has no automatic milk heat or texture settings. Whole beans need a suitable separate grinder.
New US offer below $500 before tax and shipping; checked 31 October 2026.
View at BrevilleThe Bambino gives you coffee-button controls and a manual steam wand. Its US instructions distinguish the single-wall route for freshly ground coffee from the dual-wall route for pre-ground coffee. That distinction helps you choose a starting coffee plan before buying accessories.
For an iced latte, the coffee preparation and extraction are the relevant machine stages. Cold milk does not require the steaming step. If you also want hot lattes, the standard Bambino leaves wand and jug positioning with you. It does not have the Plus model’s automatic milk settings.
#3. DeLonghi Dedica Duo EC890M
DeLonghi Dedica Duo EC890M DeLonghi Dedica Duo EC890M
Our verdict:
For a narrow counter
Choose the Dedica Duo for its slim case, preset coffee recipes and manual My LatteArt steam wand. Plan refill access and space for a grinder.
Keep in mind: Milk texture is manual and a grinder is not built in. A slim case does not account for the rest of the setup.
New US offer below $500 before tax and shipping; checked 31 October 2026.
View at DeLonghiChoose the Duo if preset coffee recipes and a narrow case fit your counter. It has a manual My LatteArt steam wand for hot drinks. Its separate cold-brew recipe is another drink option, rather than a requirement for making an iced latte from espresso.
Plan where the espresso cup and the final glass will sit. A glass that fits under an outlet is not proof that your entire working routine fits there. Allow access to the tank and tray as well as space for a grinder and the ingredients you use.
Choose for the drinks you actually make
| Your priority | Start with | Main trade-off |
|---|---|---|
| Brewing adjustments | H10A US silver | More settings to learn and a separate espresso grinder |
| Clear basket routes | Bambino BES450 | Milk work remains manual for hot drinks |
| Narrow machine case | Dedica Duo EC890M | Working equipment needs more space than the case |

These are choices by documented function, not a taste ranking. All three had qualifying new US machine offers below $500 before tax and shipping on 31 October 2026. Their product buttons lead to the maker pages used for the offer checks.
Keep the espresso and dilution repeatable
Record the dry coffee dose and the drink yield before experimenting with how much milk or ice to add. Use a suitable vessel and follow the machine’s preparation instructions. Repeating the espresso base makes it easier to decide what to change in the finished drink.
Use the espresso ratio calculator to plan that dose and yield. It calculates a recipe relationship; it does not measure what the machine actually delivers. Weigh or otherwise check the delivery in your own routine rather than treating a preset button as a guarantee of the same result with every coffee.
Do you need an automatic milk system?
If most of your drinks use cold milk, an automatic steam feature may see little use. If you also make hot drinks, compare the milk workflow separately. Automatic steaming changes jug work; it does not grind coffee, fill the basket or clear the used grounds.
Our milk-frother comparison explains those controls. The automatic milk guide covers the two current options with automatic jug settings.
Verdict
Buy for the espresso routine first when iced lattes are the main drink. Choose brewing adjustments, basket flexibility or a narrow case according to your own equipment and space. Add hot-milk automation only when it solves a task you expect to use.
